Chidi Afulezi is a product coach, media entrepreneur, and venture builder who is the co- founder of WCKD a venture studio building creative, media, and learning products for Africa; and the ZVG a communications products agency and consultancy. Chidi co- founded aKoma Media, a "storytelling as a service" network of creative hubs and platforms for African creative entrepreneurs; and also co.founded The Core Venture Studio in Atlanta, a venture capital and startup accelerator. He is the managing principal for redKola Digital, a product management and digital transformation consultancy. In addition to his product and comms work, Chidi is an educator, serving as Head Faculty for Product, Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the ALU School of Business. This work also includes his role as the Lead Product Faculty for the Public Sector Fellowship at the Center for a Re-imagined Africa. He is also a Product Management instructor at Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley. Prior to embarking on his entrepreneurial path, Chidi served in an assortment of product executive roles at AT&T, Sony Music, Time Warner, CNN, and Turner Broadcasting. Chidi earned bachelor's dual degrees in Mathematics and Electrical Engineering from New York University and the Stevens Institute of Technology. He received his MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University. His mantra is what is good for the hive, is good for the bee. His work as a product guy, creative, teacher, and digital operator is infused with this mantra and is responsible for the infectious drive and energy he brings to his craft.
