Belise Kariza is AWF’s Country Director for Rwanda, leading AWF’s support to the Government of Rwanda to restore the Volcanoes National Park (VNP) and enahnce tourism experience, while generating employment and economic opportunities for Rwandans living around the VNP. Belise has over 12 years of experience in the conservation, tourism and marketing. Before joining AWF, she worked for Rwanda Development Board as the Chief Tourism Officer. Prior to that, she worked as the Innovation and Consumer Market Intelligence Manager for The Heineken Company.
